A drugged man covered in blood is picked up by police. Before the cops can get answers the man escapes in search of answers to the mystery himself.

When a hapless pharmacist loses his job and falls in with criminals, he's soon made The Fall Guy. Unemployed, Johnny Quinlan (Jack Mulhall) starts doing jobs for underworld chieftain Nifty Herman (Thomas Jackson), who plans to use Johnny as a dupe to cover up his own shady activities. Herman plants a illegal drugs on Quinlan, who is nabbed by federal agent Charles Newton (Pat O'Malley). But in a twist, Quinlan convinces Newton to allow him to trick Herman into a confession.

The summer movie season kicked off with David Leitch’s “The Fall Guy,” but it sadly underperformed with a $27.5 million three-day weekend. Obviously, we’ll wait and see if the film has some legs and could turn into a sudden hit, but I’m not holding my breath on that front. With these types of numbers, it’s quite clear that the Ryan Gosling starring film might not turn into a franchise, or will it? According to Gosling, in an interview with FastCompany, a sequel has already been written and he’s ready to jump into it. We already—I mean, we love these characters so much that we wanted to know, just for ourselves, what happens to Colt and [Emily Blunt’s character] Jody after the movie ends?What’s the next phase for them? And we know exactly what it is. So hopefully the audience wants to know, too. He added, “The sequel sort of wrote itself. We already know [the story] intimately. We’re just hoping that people like this movie enough that we get to keep telling the story of these characters. We love them so much, and we love this world, and I feel confident that we can do it.”

A high-priced male escort navigates an awkward night with a young married couple on the brink of divorce.

A filmmaker picks a "real" subject to shoot, and when she sees Guy on the street, she latches onto him. At first, Guy is enraged that someone is just following him around, filming, but soon he begrudgingly accepts her presence, then gets attached to the attention.
